Safety Audit Programs

Safety Audit Programs

Safety Audit Programs are designed to strengthen a safety program by identifying any weaknesses, such as areas where the program hasnt been fully implemented or insufficient training of employees. Like financial audits, they may be conducted internally or by state, government, or industry officials. The audits, held every three years, examine a number of areas with the goal of improving safety for employees and citizens who use public transportation, whether from choice or necessity. Targeted transportation systems include a Rail Safety Audit Program, a Commuter Rail Safety Management Program, and a Bus Safety Management Program. Evaluations from independent auditors, who are known nationally and internationally, help to optimize safety practices and in the process, show the industrys ability to police itself.

Safety Audit Programs and Crime Prevention

While not all communities conduct safety audits, where they are held, local residents have a great deal to say about feeling safe or not feeling safe in their own neighborhood, even in their own homes. They are not shy about pointing out the parks and shopping malls that they hate having to go to, even in the daytime, because of the drug dealers, and the human waste and other trash left lying around. Their demands for street lighting are often vociferous, in spite of being met with tales of woe about inadequate budgets. They are sick of gang members taking over the streets, the bus stops, and the local cash and carry stores. They want police officers to get the many cowardly bullies off the streets and into jail or rehab programs.

Protecting Your Investment with a Custom RV Garage

Protecting Your Investment with a Custom RV Garage

An RV typically constitutes a major financial investment why not protect that investment with an RV garage? People who own recreational vehicles are keenly aware that its size precludes parking inside a homes standard garage.

A home does not come standard with a RV garage. However, there is an easy solution to this common RV parking problem. Prefabricated garages can be assembled by you, or you can have a custom garage for your RV built by a professional.

You can find prefabricated garages made of cedar or other types of wood siding in addition to those constructed of vinyl siding or steel. There are light weight aluminum RV garages available as well; they are, however, less likely to hold up under extreme weather conditions like the more durable materials will.

When you buy a custom designed RV garage, it can be built exactly to your specifications as well as to match the design of your home. A custom RV garage can be built as one large room or it can have sections for additional vehicles, large boats, or even excess equipment. You can also use these side rooms as guest rooms, workshops, or office space. A second option is to obtain a set of RV garage plans so a contractor can build it for you. Garages that are custom built out of materials that are durable and of high quality will last for quite a few years.

Carportlike prefabricated RV canopies keep snow, rain, and harsh sunlight off the RVs roof. While custom garages are typically complete, many prefabricated garages lack wall structures, and so provide only partial protection from the elements. An RV garage that has walls protects your RV from theft and vandalism as well. Burglar alarms mounted in the RV garage can provide further protection from vandals and thieves.

Whichever type of RV garage you purchase, make sure to first measure your RV to ensure proper fit in its new garage. Your garage needs to have doors that are at least 12 feet tall. Recreational vehicles with devices on the roof such as air conditioners, luggage racks, or satellite dishes may require 14 foot garage doors. When measuring the depth of your vehicle, make sure you also figure in the space required to walk around the front and back of the vehicle while it is parked inside the garage.

Producing a Photon

Producing a Photon

There are many different ways to produce photons, but all of them use the same mechanism inside an atom to do it. This mechanism involves the energizing of electrons orbiting each atoms nucleus. How Nuclear Radiation Works describes protons, neutrons and electrons in some detail. For example, hydrogen atoms have one electron orbiting the nucleus. Helium atoms have two electrons orbiting the nucleus. Aluminum atoms have 13 electrons circling the nucleus. Each atom has a preferred number of electrons zipping around its nucleus.

Electrons circle the nucleus in fixed orbits a simplified way to think about it is to imagine how satellites orbit the Earth. Theres a huge amount of theory around electron orbitals, but to understand light there is just one key fact to understand: An electron has a natural orbit that it occupies, but if you energize an atom, you can move its electrons to higher orbitals. A photon is produced whenever an electron in a higherthannormal orbit falls back to its normal orbit. During the fall from high energy to normal energy, the electron emits a photon a packet of energy with very specific characteristics. The photon has a frequency, or color, that exactly matches the distance the electron falls.

You can see this phenomenon quite clearly in gasdischarge lamps. Fluorescent lamps, neon signs and sodiumvapor lamps are common examples of this kind of electric lighting, which passes an electric current through a gas to make the gas emit light. The colors of gasdischarge lamps vary widely depending on the identity of the gas and the construction of the lamp.

For example, along highways and in parking lots, you often see sodium vapor lights. You can tell a sodium vapor light because its really yellow when you look at it. A sodium vapor light energizes sodium atoms to generate photons. A sodium atom has 11 electrons, and because of the way theyre stacked in orbitals one of those electrons is most likely to accept and emit energy. The energy packets that this electron is most likely to emit fall right around a wavelength of 590 nanometers. This wavelength corresponds to yellow light. If you run sodium light through a prism, you dont see a rainbow you see a pair of yellow lines.

How To Grow Partridgeberry Groundcover

How To Grow Partridgeberry Groundcover

Oh the joys of cultivating a garden! Nothing is as serene and calming as going out on a sunny day and landscaping your most precious garden. Every flower, shrub, fern, tree and bush you planted in it has a place in your grand design and watching it flourish and grow everyday is a rewarding, if not calming experience.

One of the plants you may consider for your garden is the partridgeberry Mitchella repens a creeping evergreen vine thats quiet and unassuming and despite its ubiquitous appearance, it is quite a common plant used to accentuate a garden or yard. Partridgeberry is named for the partridges that eat its sparse berries.

Growing this herbaceous woody shrub, commonly found in North American countries is quite easy. Below are the steps you can follow to cultivate the partridgeberry groundcover.

Mimic the natural environment. Since the partridgeberry is native to North America, you shouldnt have any trouble mimicking its natural environment. Use soil that is a sandy loam rich in humus. Unlike most plants, its none too fussy about the pH levels in the garden soil. Its so hardy it can even grow among limestone rocks.

Get in the shade. The partridgeberry should be planted in places where there is full shade. The partridgeberry needs moist soil and keeping it rooted in the shade will ensure exactly that and too much sun will cause the poor plant stress.

Keep it moist. The real trick in maintaining partridgeberry is to keep it always moist but always well drained. So you need to constantly be vigilant that the place you planted it is kept moist but not too moist. You can dig a trench around it to make sure they dont drown. Always remember, that for the first two years of growing, it cannot be allowed to dry out.

Transplanting is easy. The partridgeberry can be transplanted easily and at the same time will be easy to propagate by dividing the roots. Cut rootbearing sections from the stem around the nodes then replace them in moist soil. A few snips will create a good sized evergreen mate for the garden.

Plant for shade. The partridgeberry best feature that it provides great foliage for rock gardens and the like. So if you plan to use it as foliage, you had better locate ideal places to plant the partridgeberry then map the garden out accordingly.

Grooming. Occasionally trim your partridgeberry to give it a neat appearance. Remove dead leaves by using gardening tools to neatly cut them off instead of snapping them off.

Shilpa Shetty Sarees Online

Shilpa Shetty Sarees Online

The breathtaking beige saree which is named after Shilpa Shetty is a total show stealer. The artificial georgette fabric blends well with the beige colour and is well balanced with the works contained therein. Floral patterns and Peacock patterns are fresh and have been employed in an innovative way in this saree. The striped designer border fits well in the picture and enhances the total idea. Dual tones have been used through the embroidery in each shade boosting the ethnic looks and the elegance of the rather sober saree. The peacock has been symbolized in a rather innovative way with its feathers lined neatly at the back. The brown and green threads that have been used for the peacock and floral patterns are in harmony with the beige body of the saree. The saree comes with a matching blouse material that is well stitched with short sleeves and deep v neck.

The saree is hence balanced in its elements. The border has a combination of dark green and dark brown colours on which zari threads run to create an innovative and pleasant border. The twines are rather thin and have leaves whose embroidery is spiral from outside to inside. While gold and brown pair to form a dual tone on the stem of the twine, dark green and light green forms dual tone on the leaves. The pair of peacock would have the beholders eyes totally arrested because the birds have been handled in a very fresh imagination. The peacocks face each other with the embroidery parallel throughout the design. The grace of the birds and that of the saree has been maintained intact.

The curves in these patterns are very accurate. The creativity of the designer has been aptly materialized by the craftsman. Gold and black metal jewelry could be used with the saree. Kangans with red and green stones should complete the ethnic looks of the saree. Neck could be done with beautiful studded necklace with white and red stones with a pendant preferably in peacock pattern. The saree is best accessorized with beige purses and slippers. Green or brown accessories would look bold with the saree. Hair could be braided into neat Indian plaits with a string of jasmines to complete the royal and ethnic looks of the saree.

Sermons On Baptism

Sermons On Baptism

Sermons on baptism would be likely to consider text from the Books of John. John was one of the first apostles of Christ, and was a man who had performed baptisms before Christ came, and actually baptized Jesus. There are many references in the Book of John to the baptisms John performed, and how people thought at first that John was the Messiah, or a prophet, but John always told them that he came before Christ who was the Son of God.

Sermons on baptism may discuss the different ways that various Christian faiths perceive baptism. In some churches, baptism is necessary immediately upon birth to cleanse sin from a child, and if baptism is not performed and a child dies he will not be able to get into heaven. In other churches, baptism is a symbolic rite that someone can choose to undergo later in life when they feel they truly understand the scriptures and want to make this affirmation of their faith.

Matthew 3:1316 discusses the baptism of Jesus. According to this Book, Jesus came to the Jordan River to be baptized by John, and John initially denied him, saying that it was John who should be baptized by Jesus, not the other way around. But Christ said that he must be baptized, so John consented and performed the ritual. Witnesses said that when Jesus emerged form the water, the heavens opened and they heard the voice of God saying that he was pleased and that Jesus was his Son. Sermons on baptism might expand upon the gospels relatively short recollection of the event and discuss why Jesus went to be baptized, and what it meant to him at the time.

Other passages of scripture discuss the meaning and consequences of baptism. Mark 16:16 is unequivocal, stating that anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved, and that anyone who does not believe will be condemned. Galatians 3:27 has a more warm and gentle approach to the topic, equating baptism to be clothed in Christ, a joyous feeling. If you want to find out more about how different churches view baptism, or if you are looking for sermons others have offered on the subject, you will be able to find a number of online resources which will give you facts and ideas.

Rebalancing Your Busy Life

Rebalancing Your Busy Life

was the year after my divorce, and I was working full time and getting my MBA in the evenings, begins Stephanie, a researcher at a global electronics company. three kids were involved in Cub Scouts or Girl Scouts on different nights hockey or ice skating, also on different nights, not to mention the games every weekend. I think I went through that whole year without sleeping. recounts her story during a worklife balance seminar. The exercise is a 21st century version of You Top This? with the prize going to the contestant with the most outofcontrol experience. The tales are startling, outrageous, and, at the same time, almost universally familiar. As Stephanie finishes, the 60 other people in the room nod knowingly, a silent expression of there, done that. outofkilter lives have become the rule, not the exception. Little wonder worklife balance has emerged as the Holy Grail of the workplace. Survey after survey shows that when people rank what they most want from their jobs, balance tops the list.

Now, the good news: Worklife balance is not an impossible dream. In our research, we talked to plenty of people who found workable solutions to the balance dilemma. In nearly all cases, they realized that they won achieve balance by running faster, working harder, and cramming more into their lives. They let go of the idea of juggling everything.

This doesn mean they dropped out of society and are surviving on organic vegetables and goat milk. Most of the successful we studied aren interested in an extreme version of the simple life. They accept, as a given, that the three components of balance work, satisfying relationships, and personal rejuvenation or selfcare come together in a tidy, stressfree package. It the longest time Anthony Gatto, a professional juggler and the worldrecord holder since 1989, has kept five clubs in the air. Add one or two clubs, and he can juggle much more than a minute.

Anthony is a juggler extraordinaire. Most of us are not. But we trying to do the same thing with six, seven, eight, or more simultaneous commitments. Patti Manuel, the president and chief operating officer of Sprint Long Distance, consciously identifies the roles in her life as her juggling props. a boss, an employee, a friend, a mother, a daughter, and a member of my church and community. That seven. is about understanding what these roles are and not letting any one of them become dominant. Most of the time, I good at it. Other times, I trying to manage my way back from chaos. As long as our reflexes are sharp, it works. We can it all. For that 45 minutes and 2 seconds, we have a meaningful work life, a satisfying relationship with a partner, quality time with our kids and friends, and sufficient snatches of personal rejuvenation or selfcare. Then something happens and it all comes crashing down.

Comedian Steve Wright has observed, with his inimitable deadpan delivery, can have everything. Where would you put it? In our hearts, we know he right. But that doesn keep us from trying to pack everything in anyway.

Alternating. Alternaters want it all, but not all at once. Their worklife balance comes in separate, concentrated doses. They throw themselves into their careers with abandon, then cut way back or quit work altogether and focus intensely on their nonprofessional interests.

Murray Low is currently an organization effectiveness manager for Eli Lilly. Over the past 15 years, he has been a CPA, has worked for a strategy consulting firm, and has run the HR department for a steel plant, with three to sixmonth stints of unemployment in between. He made the most of his time off, skiing fresh powder and mountain biking with his wife and kids.

Others alternate on a daily or weekly basis. These focus while at work, but turn off their cell phones the minute they get home. They refuse to check email at night or on weekends. And they take all of their allotted vacation days, every year. They consider their offwork time to be crucial for deepening relationships and rejuvenating their spirit and energy.

Outsourcing. have a family of four and a staff of eight, quips Jon Younger, a New Jerseybased executive. He and his wife have precious little free time to allocate to a seemingly endless list of demands. Their solution: Prioritize those activities in which they want to be personally involved, then hire out the rest. On the list are spending oneonone time with their two sons, coaching children sports, attending church services and events, sharing quality time with extended family, and walking the dog. Just about everything else care, food prep, academic tutoring, vacation planning, and car maintenance, among them outsourced.

Outsourcers achieve worklife balance by offloading responsibilities in their personal lives free up time and energy for those areas they care most about. Their motto might be, want to have it all, not do it all. Those with limited disposable income rely on a robust, reciprocal network of family, friends, neighbors, and other supporters who band together to help each other gain a bit of balance in their lives.

Bundling. Bundlers involve themselves in fewer activities, but they get more mileage out of those activities. They examine their busy lives and look for areas in which they can dip. For example, a group of women gets together three mornings a week to work out. This accomplishes an important goal for physical exercise, and at the same time provides regular social contact and deepens their friendship.

Everyone bundles to some degree, but we also found a lot of bundling version of juggling in which people fool themselves into thinking they multitasking. The most egregious example is people who talk on their cell phones from the of a public restroom stall. Sure, they doing two things at once. But is it really helping them feel more balanced?

The essence of bundling isn so much multitasking as Its genius is in giving separate tasks greater meaning by putting them together.

Techflexing. Techflexers dream about leveraging technology to the point where they can conduct their work from almost anywhere, anytime. The key to their strategy isn just technology, but flexibility. Techflexers figure out how to maximize the control they have over their schedules.

In contrast to jugglers, techflexers don use technology to increase the work hours in a day. Rather, they use it to liberate those work hours from the more rigid 9to5 structure, as well as to enrich their personal lives.

Simplifying. Simplifiers have decided they don want it all. They made a lasting commitment to reduce the time and energy devoted to activities, whether at work or at home. The payoff, they hope, is greater freedom stress, from minutia, from the rat race.

In the physics of worklife balance, simplifying strikes us as an equal and opposite reaction to the craziness of juggling. Some people pursue it from the beginning of their career. Others come to it after they tried juggling for awhile. In either case, a common characteristic is the willingness to make some sacrifices ones, like decided to buy only one color of socks, or large ones, like took a voluntary pay cut to work only four days a week. Not one is a panacea. Each requires tradeoffs. Balance, like happiness, appears to be a journey, not a destination.

But if you focus on rebalancing your life conscious choices and course corrections as you go small changes can have a big impact. Worklife balance isn an allornothing phenomenon. Spending an hour or two per week on the things that matter most to you can spell the difference between feeling out of control versus feeling tired yet satisfied. And in a world brimming over with meaningful opportunities and fascinating distractions, yet satisfied isn a bad way to go.

Pure Silver Fine Silver

Pure Silver Fine Silver

Wearing silver jewelry is quite fashionable for young people and its white luster bestows a serene elegance on the wearer. You will find exquisite silver jewelry available in the market ranging from beautiful silver charms, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, bangles and watches. Its much more affordable compared to gold and exudes a shine quite similar to platinum.

Silver has been used to make jewelry right the time of the Phoenician, Byzantine and Egyptian empires. Today, most of the worlds silver comes from the mines of Mexico and Peru.

Pure silver is call fine silver. Since silver in its purest forms is very soft and quite malleable, other metals are mixed, to make it more durable. Its important to look out for the 925, .925 or Sterling Silver mark, when buying jewelry because these marks ensure that the silver is 92.5% pure. The remaining 7.5 percent of the jewelry is copper. Even though any other metal can be used to make up the 7.5 percent, copper is preferred since it is found to be the most suited alloy to silver as it can improve the metals hardness and durability without diminishing its white luster.

The 925, .925 or Sterling Silver marks shows that the silver jewelry you are buying is not silver plated and not an imitation made with other white colored metal alloys. At the same time, if you find a mark higher than the recommended 92.5%, avoid buying the piece as it will be too soft. It cant endure everyday wear and is not worth the money spent.

One thing about silver jewelry is that it develops a tarnish, which occurs quite naturally when it interacts with sulfur or hydrogen in the surrounding air. Tarnish can be removed by using polish specifically formulated to remove tarnish from silver jewelry. Silver polishes, solutions, or cloths required to remove tarnish can be found at local hardware stores or specialty craft stores.

Avoid exposing silver to chemicals such as bleach or ammonia which may happen when you are cleaning your house. When swimming in chlorinated water remove or set aside your silver jewelry, such as earring or chains, before your swim. Such exposures will only damage silver jewelry. Its best to place your silver jewelry in cloth pouch or in a separate area of you jewelry box. Proper care will ensure that your silver jewelry lasts for a lifetime.

Super Apple Pie Recipe

Super Apple Pie Recipe

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the flour, salt and sugar by pulsing 3 to 4 times. Add the butter and pulse 5 to 6 times until the texture looks mealy. Add the shortening and pulse another 3 to 4 times until incorporated.

Remove the lid of the food processor and sprinkle in 5 tablespoons of the applejack. Replace the lid and pulse 5 times. Add more applejack as needed, and pulse again until the mixture holds together when squeezed. Weigh the dough and divide in half. Shape each half into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.

Peel and core the apples. Slice into 1/2inch thick wedges. Toss all of the apples with 1/4 cup of the sugar, place in a colander set over a large bowl and allow to drain for 1 1/2 hours.

Transfer the drained liquid to a small saucepan, place over medium heat and reduce to 2 tablespoons. Set aside to cool. Toss the apples with the remaining sugar, tapioca flour, jelly, cider, lime juice, salt and grains of paradise.

For assembling and baking the pie:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Remove one disk of dough from the refrigerator. Place the dough onto a lightly floured piece of waxed paper. Lightly sprinkle the top of the dough with flour and roll out into a 12inch circle. Place into a 9 1/2 to 10inch tart pan that is 2inches deep. Gently press the dough into the sides of the pan, crimping and trimming the edges as necessary. Set a pie bird in the center of the bottom of the pan.

Place the apples into the unbaked pie shell in concentric circles starting around the edges, working towards the center and forming a slight mound in the center of the pie. Pour over any liquid that remains in the bowl. Roll out the second pie dough as the first. Place this dough over the apples, pressing the pie bird through the top crust. Press together the edges of the dough around the rim of the pie. Brush the top crust with the reduced juice everywhere except around the edge of pie. Trim any excess dough. Place the pie on a half sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake on the floor of the oven for 30 minutes. Transfer to the lower rack of the oven and continue to bake another 20 minutes or until the apples are cooked through but not mushy. Remove to a rack and cool a minimum of 4 hours or until almost room temperature.

If youre using an electric oven with coils on the bottom of the oven, place the pie on the sheet pan on the lowest rack over the coils, NOT directly on top of them.

There a fine line between pie and of apples covered with crust. Mine fell into the latter category.

I think my failure was because of the tapioca flour. I couldn find any so I substituted small pearl tapioca, which I pulverized into a powder. It didn work. The pie filling never set up, and was runny and wet instead with groundup tapioca pieces in it.

I do like the mixture of apples, though. It nice to see, feel, and taste all the different apples in the pie. Next time I get real tapioca flour.

Great recipe! Could not believe the crust: When mixing thought it would never hold together. It did ball nicely; however, it did fall apart somewhat when rolled out and put into pie dish. Pieced it together, especially the top. Crossed my fingers and baked it. Delicious filling and flakey crust. My wife never eats pie crusts, so I asked if she would let me have hers. The look she gave me was like daggers flying through the air. Note: we used Braeburn apples and formed a piece of aluminum foil to vent the pie. It will be our special desert when guests come over.

I made this pie for Christmas Eve and it turned out ok, not what i had expected. I used 2 types of apples and the consistency wasn great, next time I will use only one and more than the recipe suggests, at least 4,4.5 lbs instead. The flavor was there but the filling was very runny and i did use 3 heaping tbsp of tapioca starch. Also the glaze burnt the crust so i had to take the pie out 15 minutes earlier and I was very crumbly, falling apart from every side. Couldn get clean cut apple pieces.

Sales Incentive Games

Sales Incentive Games

As the field of sales is, to some, largely a game, it makes sense that the game format is a primary avenue used by sales managers to incentivize their staffs. Games may take countless forms, from live competitions to virtual computerbased contests. With so much sales activity taking place over the telephone and email, its fitting that a larger percentage of incentive games are shaping up online, as thats where reps now spend the majority of their time.

Capitalizing on this trend, several companies have set up businesses that cater directly to sales managers hoping to motivate their forces. Some operate by contracting with wellknown online retailers and making their products and services available through virtual dollars or online store credits. Others, however, have even more original methods.

Some software companies offer casinostyle templates that allow sales staff to bank their winnings in their own virtual tills. Each time a rep receives coins or tokens, he or she may put them toward prizes available through the casinos online gift shop. Mind you, these rewards arent limited to symbolic gifts; rather, they include things such as highend electronics, travel coupons, and expensive dinners, just to name a few.

So how are sales reps supposed to acquire these casino chips? Here, the sales manager may operate at his or her own discretion and award points based on daily, weekly, or monthly figures. A great day may warrant a bonus for a given rep, while closing a notoriously difficult lead may score points for another. Its up to the games organizer to allocate points in whatever fashion he or she chooses as well as to select the prizes up for grabs at the virtual gift shop.

Review of Online Website Builders

Review of Online Website Builders

I looked into a couple of offerings lately in an attempt to replace the poor hosting I was getting from another web host. I compared 3 site builders:

1. One standard everday hosting option and two online site building options. Prices started at $14.95.

3. Prices started at $9.99 you get you first three months at $4.99.

Each vendor had their strengths:

Homestead had a large selection of designs.

VeryVip offered built in RSS feeds.

Probuildertool offered free forums and link exchange pages.

Ultimately as a programmer I had to go with the tool thatI thought would give me the most flexiblity for the cost and the one that didn look like I built my site using an online site builder. You cannot use third party templates unless you use the hosting only option. The one thing that this site offered that was lacking with the others, was the abilityto truly build a community site and grow from there. Neither Homestead nor Vip offered a forum in thier lower level packages, while probuildertool offered it on the very first level.

Homestead didn offer an option for creating a newsletter at all at any level, while VeryVipHosting offered it only on their top level. Probuildertool offered it on their mid level package.

Email a friend links could be placed on any page in Probuildertool without typing in any code. This was not available with VeryVipHosting or Homestead. flash movies, music, etc., was available for Homestead and Probuildertool, but not on VeryVip hosting.

Homestead, based on the customer sites, was not what I was looking for. They have been in the online web building business since 1998 according to their website and won awards for thier product, but honestly the designs were a little bland. Most likely because the users didn use the software to its fullest potential.

Conclusion on Homestead: This is a very strong product and is obviously geared toward people who have never had a web presence but need to create on quickly or those that may already have a brickandmortar presence.

I got give it to George Little and the people over at VeryVip. If you are trying to start a business online and you are just getting started, their option is the choice for you. If you read any internet guru book, ebook, website or email course you will find everything they recommend that you have on a website as an option on VeryVipHosting. RSS display, RSS publishing, Ad management, content, content, content.

Conclusion on VeryVipHosting: A solid product for the beginning online entrepreneur.

The Probuildertool offered me a lot for only a $9.95 investment per month. They give you just enough freedom to make your site your own. I typed in my information, set up my forums, put in my article source link code one line of javascript and within a few minutes I was up and running.

Conclusion on Probuildertool: Offers a lot of options and flexibility. Great price and gives the experienced web designer enough freedom to create a really unique site.

If you are just getting started on the web or just need a web presence quickly any of these tools can, honestly, do the job. I just found more flexiblilty with probuildertool, but that my opinion. I encourage you to check them all out andbased on your needs choose the one that is right for you.

Solidworks Alternative

Solidworks Alternative

There are several highquality computeraided design CAD programs available on the market today. It can be difficult for some to determine which particular product is right for them or their firm. Perhaps some have been using a program like SolidWorks and wish to assess the viability of other software programs instead.

Choosing the Right CAD Software

When evaluating CAD software, it is important to assess each candidates qualifications in a number of areas. First and foremost, you will want to be sure that the design features are top notch and can work easily and fluidly on your computer system. Strange as it may seem, most of the top CAD programs can create professional and effective designs.

The real distinction starts to emerge when you look beyond the initial design features. For instance, not all CAD programs include an integrated data management system. There arent many that include the valuable set of team design tools that enable several users to work concurrently on a single project.

Does the program youre examining have realtime online support included in the package price? Is its file format based on the widelyused and effective STEP standard? These are important features that may mean the difference between success and failure at a given project. By assessing these needs early, you can ensure that your job will be completed quickly and accurately.

To get to Reston, its easiest to hire transportation. Sedan and limousine companies make getting in and out of Dulles easy, whether your destination is Reston or further afield. Regression In Potty Training

Regression In Potty Training

Your child has done so well with her potty training. Then, all of a sudden she starts wetting her pants, hides to do business or asks for a diaper or pullup. What happened?

Even though seeing your child go backward in this important developmental step can seem very frustrating, don let it get to you. Your child will feel your frustration and feel even worse than she already does about going back to diapers.

Instead look at it as a natural development she is going through. Keep encouraging her to use the potty and most importantly, don make her feel ashamed about wetting her pants. Yelling, calling her names or punishing her for her accidents will only make matters worse. Be the loving and nurturing parent that she needs right now, since there is usually a good reason for her regression.

Determine The Cause Of The Regression

As I mentioned, there is usually a good reason why your child is regressing in her potty training, even though it may not be obvious to you right away, or you may not connect the cause with potty training. Did you move recently, change daycare, or had a new baby? Even very young toddlers can express what is bothering them if you take the time to find out. Spend some extra time with your little one, play in the floor or read some stories together and see if she doesn give you some hints about what is bothering her and causing her to give up on the potty idea for now.

Keep encouraging your child to go to the potty. Keep a positive attitude and don force the issue, but keep it in your toddlers mind. Ask her every few hours if she would like to go to the potty. Don make a big deal out of it when she goes in her diaper, or clothes. Change her and ask her to use the potty next time. When she does decide to use the potty again, be sure to give her lots and lots of praise.

With all your support and encouragement your child will soon jump back into a routine of using the potty and this little phase of going back to diapers will be over. Just remember to relax, avoid getting frustrated, or at least don let your child notice your frustration, find out if there is an underlying cause and above all be encouraging and patient. Remember you are your child biggest cheerleader when it comes to mastering potty training. Read our full Terms of Service.

How to Get Them to Buy

How to Get Them to Buy

How to Get Them to BuyIn to Your Ideaby Susan Dunn

How can I get them to buyin to this idea? Anna, a bank manager, asked me. She had an idea for restructuring the department. She knew it would work, but only if everyone would agree to it.

My reply was not the quickfix answer Anna was hoping for. Your company culture needs a redo, I said. The best way to get people to buyin to your idea is to take the time to establish a culture of emotional intelligence.

Why? Because EQ competencies increase leadership ability, team commitment, and a positive attitude toward problemsolving.

Mastering EQ competencies and using them becomes a value of the organization, the way we do work around here. This is deep infrastructure change.

Employees in such an EQ culture assume cooperation, selfregulation, and feedback, and have resources and processes for managing emotions. They know how to negotiate disagreements and engage in proactive problemsolving. They respect one another.

They share a common language so when arguments arise, they can refer to constructive discontent, and when setbacks occur, they talk about resilience. A shared commitment to optimism greases the wheel, making it more likely that their individual and group potential will be achieved.

Establishing an emotional intelligence culture can be accomplished by The EQ Foundation course, an interactive Internet course; ezines such as EQ in the Workplace, EQ assessments, individual coaching, and group process work. Work with an EQ coach to establish an EQ culture in your organization. Then an idea can be judged on its merits, not unresolved emotional issues among participants.

I offer coaching, distance learning courses, and ebooks around emotional intelligence. I train and certify EQ coaches. Get in this field, dubbed white hot by the press, now, before its crowded, and offer your clients something of real value. Start tomorrow, no residence requirement, global student body. How To Get Chunky Highlights in Your Hair

How To Get Chunky Highlights in Your Hair

If you are looking to make a bold statement with your hair, chunky highlights are a great way to do it. These highlights are much more noticeable than natural thin highlights, which are a softer, more subtle enhancement. By reading this, Im guessing you have already decided a salon is too expensive for you. Do not fearthere are new, athome treatments on the market that are straightforward and effective.

The first step is to decide what color highlights you want. You should also check out the various hair color products as well. If you want something that is more dramatic, you are better off going with a product like LOreal Colour Rays. For unnatural hair colors, such as pink or blue, try Manic Panics Flashlightning Bleach Kit, following up with one of their crme or gel colors. Trying to go the natural route? Then LOreal HiLight Styliste or Clairol Herbal Essences HighLights is the way to go.

The best method for applying chunky highlights is with a colorapplying tint brush. Some kits come with them, some dont. If the box doesnt say there is one inside, swing by your closest Sally Beauty Supply and buy one on the cheap.

Success depend on your hairs health and texture, the amount of time the chemicals stay on, and the number of highlights you want. Most stylists agree that giving your hair an allover dye job is much easier but that doesnt mean you cant give it a go! Here are some tips that should help:

With any highlighting kit, the easiest thing to do is just follow the instructions that are included in the box. If you are looking to get chunky highlights and the ones on the box are thin ones, you simply need to apply the formula in larger sections to achieve the look you want.

Do not wash your hair less than 24 hours before you plan to apply your highlights. By doing this, you scalp is protected from the strong chemicals by the natural oils in your hair.

Brush your hair into your usual style so you can see exactly where you want highlights. The most naturallooking places are on your bangs, the top of your crown, and around the sides of your face.

Make sure the mixed formula is the right consistency. If its too thin, the mixture runs and you wont be able to control where you paint the highlights. If its too thick, the mixture wont apply well or spread where you need it.

If possible, have a good friend apply the formula to your hair. It will be much easier for them to apply the crme evenly and thoroughly.

Once your strands are painted, youll need to wait for the color to develop. Most formulas take about 15 to 30 minutes, but if youre impatient to check it, squeeze out the cream from a small section on the ends to see if your strands are light enough. Dont leave the formula on your hair for more than 30 minutes; it could really damage your hair if you do.

Dont worry about trying to get your highlights perfect; they will look a lot more natural if they arent overly exact. If the color seems a bit strong when you are done, dont worryit takes a week or so for the color to fully oxidize and tone down. If you want some tips on how to apply highlights for your style and hair, check out the Plan Your Application section on the LOreal website.
